When one looks around, they seem to find a shortage of inspiration in this world, finding an inspiration is a far easier task. One could look to a country such as Gambia to find true. Meet Amadou Samba, a proud Gambian citizen, whose efforts to bolster his country’s quest for social and economic advancements have found fruit in his own labor. The chairman of Gacem Company Limited, a construction company, Mr. Samba owns a stake in a number of other companies in the nation. He is the managing director of Gamwater, the country’s only bottled water dealer for a long time up until now.

Amadou Samba has admitted that his aim is to not only earn appraisal in the industrial world for his achievements, but also to use his achievements as a means of benefiting the people of Gambia. A family man, Mr. Samba believes that his people are a part of his extended family. He also feels that it is his responsibility to look for their welfare, just the way; it is the responsibility of other Gambians to do the same for others.

Amadou Samba is a graduate from the University of Nigeria from where he holds an LLB degree. After graduating in 1980, he spent the next two years educating himself further in the Nigerian Law School. Thereafter, he pursued a diploma in International Law from the J. Nehru University in India. He also holds a diploma from the Indian Academy of International Law and Diplomacy.
